WORKSHOP - Creative Printmaking : Anodised Aluminium

Date: 16 & 17 July 2026
Time: 10am - 4pm
Location: In the Studio - Farley, near Salisbury, Wiltshire.
Cost: £260 including all workshop materials and equipment.

You will be introduced to a host of printing techniques through demonstrations and discussions; including block printing, collagraph and mono-print. There will be a strong emphasis on the use of found, recycled and natural materials to produce unexpected and surprising textural patterns.

You will create a series of samples and notes as you try out each colouring technique, providing a useful reference collection. You will be encouraged to experiment and explore the capabilities of the material. We will look at choosing a colour palette and colour interactions to create a pleasing result.

This is a hands-on workshop, focusing on discovery and a catalyst for you to start your own journey with colour on aluminium. Suitable for jewellers, makers, designers, students and educators, beginners or those wishing to refresh their knowledge.
