Petal Drops - Burnt Orange & Green

My take on the classic teardrop earring, a stylised petal.

Comprised of patterned aluminium - anodised, hand-screenprinted with colour, and framed in the dark tones of oxidised silver. These hollow forms are light on the ear and comfortable to wear, they move freely below the retro flower shaped upper section and hang from layered silver studs.

Measuring - 50 x 17 x 6mm
Materials - Anodised aluminium, silver, garnets.
Weight - 6.9g each

Sterling silver and hand-printed anodised aluminium, a light yet strong and durable material with a smooth matt finish. Constructed using traditional metalwork and printmaking techniques, and assembled with tiny silver rivets.
